Can-Am Defender Transmission Controller

Get gear-position signals from your Can-Am Defender without splicing into the factory harness. The Transmission Controller plugs into the Defender's diagnostic connector, reads the transmission state, and gives you switched outputs you can use to trigger lights, cameras, alarms, or any other accessory that needs to know what gear you're in.

Features

• Plug-in install: Connects at the diagnostic connector. No cutting, tapping, or guessing which factory wire carries the signal you need.
• Gear-state outputs: Two outputs (A and B) switch based on gear selection, so you can tell Park, Reverse, and Neutral apart and know when the vehicle is in gear.
• Ground or 12V switching: Use the ground outputs directly, or choose the 12 Volt version with relays included to power accessories that need a +12V signal.

Choose Your Version

• One Module – Ground Switching: One controller. Outputs pull to chassis ground, ready for relays and accessories that trigger on a ground signal.
• One Module – 12 Volt Switching: One controller plus two relays, so both outputs supply +12V. Just connect the ring terminal to the battery. The fuse is included.
• Two Modules: Two ground-switching controllers.

Output Reference

Off = open circuit. On = ground (Ground Switching version) or +12V (12 Volt Switching version).
